On Tuesday 18th September, Amulet invited its clients and affiliates to an ‘Innovation Day’ held at Aston Martin Red Bull Racing’s impressive MK7 venue in Milton Keynes. MK7 is an inspiring event space that was only officially launched later that same week, and the event was one of the first to be hosted in the new and exciting venue. Showcasing Red Bull’s illustrious backstory as a frontrunner and disruptor in Formula 1 – alongside the full suite of racing cars – it was a fitting venue for Amulet to demonstrate exactly how it aims to follow through on its forward-thinking promise outlined in its strapline ‘security.transformed.’.
An introduction from Managing Director, Darren Read, laid out the company’s value proposition: challenging the status quo of an industry that is outdated and too often relies on manpower to solve all its challenges. The focus of the day was very much on the technology that Amulet is deploying across its contracts, and the strategic partnerships the company is making with experts in their respective fields to enhance its services and gain that all important competitive edge.
Amulet’s commitment to transforming the security industry was made clear as the first announcements of the day detailed two strategic partnerships that will offer Amulet’s customers access to ground breaking technology and intelligence-led solutions.
More will be revealed on these over the coming weeks…
From thereon, the attendees viewed presentations from some of the senior leadership team of the wider Churchill Group. Antony Law, Managing Director of Churchill London, explained how Churchill’s vision of ‘digitising FM’ is being implemented across the business – namely in the rollout of sensors as part of a smart building strategy. Continuing this theme was James Bradley, Managing Director of Churchill’s Compliance division, who showcased the company’s recently-developed compliance software, ‘CATI’ (Compliance Assurances Through Insight).
Once everyone had taken full advantage of the venue and exhibition, the floor was open to networking and sit-down sessions with the team, and interactive sessions with the technology on display. For the F1 fans in attendance, there was the opportunity to enjoy an extensive guided tour of the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing factory – bringing a successful day across the finish line.
