If you really want to make something happen and you are prepared to work for it, anything is possible. That is the message loud and clear from our technical services apprentice, Jack Randall.
Here at Amulet, we encourage our colleagues to develop their skills, gain qualifications, and progress their careers. We work closely with Skills for Security, the UK’s largest fire and security apprenticeship provider, and were delighted to support Jack into his apprenticeship when a learning opportunity came up in our technical services team.
Jack was working as a security officer at one of our client sites that combines guarding and technical solutions. He was keen to learn more about how the tech on site worked, how it was used, how it could be developed, and was eager to get started with his apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship has offered a fantastic learning experience to Jack and he has thoroughly enjoyed his journey. Whether installing CCTV in the public facing gorilla enclosure at a zoo, or deploying alarm units in vacant railway arches, Jack does so with endless enthusiasm and a smile on his face.
Reflecting on his apprenticeship experience, Jack said:
“I have learnt so much here and at college. I am looking to gain as much knowledge as I can, gain my qualifications in fire and security when college is done, and be a great asset to the team.”
From day one, Jack has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to learning and has consistently impressed his supervisor, mentors, and colleagues. Jack’s journey is a shining example of how commitment and hard work in an apprenticeship program can lead to impressive growth and responsibility.
We look forward to seeing what he accomplishes next!
