Relief Security Controller/Call Centre

PAY RATE:

£13.20 per hour

HOURS:

Guaranteed 42hrs per week doing a mixture of Days & Nights

THE ROLE:

We are looking Relief Security officer to join our Security Controller Team, working in our brand new Command Control and Intelligence Centre (CCIC ) in Alsager, near Crewe. The CCIC delivers security control room services throughout the UK. The role would ideally suit someone with control room or call centre experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Respond to security alerts and emergency situations in a prompt and professional manner.
• Manage incoming and outgoing calls from staff, clients and emergency contacts.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all incidents and communications.
• Conduct routine checks and status reports on sites, equipment and personnel.
• Follow standard operating procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients and team members.

SKILLS:

• Previous experience in a control room, call centre or security environment.
• Knowledge of security systems and emergency response protocols
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Very good customer services skills
• Strong IT skills
• The ability to manage and prioritise tasks and workload within a busy environment
• The ability to give attention to detail and maintain consistently accurate records.

LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• A frontline SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor licence is essential
• Possession of a SIA CCTV Operator licence is desirable.
• You must be able to pass police Level 2 vetting.

INTERVIEW REQUIREMENTS:

• Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• You must be able to provide check-able 5-year employment history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods in receipt of benefits).
