Amulet, the specialist security business of Churchill Group, has been named a finalist in this year’s Premises and Facilities Management (PFM) Partnership Awards. Amulet has been shortlisted in the Partners in Expert Services – Public Sector category for its successful partnership with the train operator c2c.
The nominated partnership began in 2011 when c2c selected Amulet to manage passenger safety and experience, preventing and dealing with anti-social behaviour and any crime within the stations, including drug dealing and criminal damage. The next 5 years saw this working relationship become well established through delivery excellence, a thorough understanding of the unique environment and associated challenges, and the earning of c2c’s trust through the demonstration of expertise. As a result, in 2016 Amulet was awarded the entire security contract for c2c which at that time was the longest contract ever awarded to a private contractor. Today Amulet has over 200 full-time security professionals working with c2c, supported by a management team of sector and security experts.
The PFM Partnership Awards recognise the essential requirement of forging effective partnerships and focus on rewarding the very best examples of these through its dedicated independent judging panel.
Winners will be announced at the PFM Partnership Awards presentation evening held on 6 November at The Brewery in London.
