Amulet celebrates five years in business

We have this month marked our fifth birthday with a celebratory event for our colleagues.

Since the launch in 2018, Amulet has seen consistently high levels of growth and development. Turnover has increased from £12 million in 2018 to £60 million in 2023, and the team has grown from 480 to 2,400 employees, with a 98 per cent customer retention rate.

Our first client is still working with the business today following a successful retender this year. Branching out across wider sectors, including rail, retail, education, public sector, and commercial real estate, has enabled us to develop our service offering and allow security professionals to develop their skills. The business has won several awards, including the SFE award for Security Company of the Year in 2019 and PFM’s Partners in Expert Services – Public Sector award two years in a row. We are finalists in the Partners in Security category this year.

Leader in innovation

Amulet’s status as a security specialist has been cemented through our innovative solutions that blend people and technology. Project Blueprint is our exclusive real-time situational awareness software that creates a control room-style platform on a user’s mobile device or tablet, allowing professionals to keep track of security on the go. We have also enhanced our Technical Services division to further our development in security technology, enabling the best results for our clients.

Community engagement

We have been involved with various social value projects during the last five years, including sleeping out overnight at St Pancreas train station to raise funds for Railway Children, a charity that combats child homelessness. The introduction of the Amulet Community Committee has seen our teams develop closer communication with the local community and engage with initiatives that benefit the memorable moments working with charities such as Shine. Shine aims to make a positive difference in the lives of people affected by spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus.

The committee raised funds to provide an unforgettable day out for the Shine children and their families at ZSL London Zoo. Each year, the committee has the honour of singing carols under the Christmas Tree in Trafalgar Square, a magical evening that raises funds for both local and national charities.
