We are delighted to announce that our head of HR, Tracey Cheung has been shortlisted in the ‘Inspiration in HR’ category for the Security and Fire Excellence Awards 2020. The Inspiration in HR Award is to recognise the work of human resources professionals. Now in its 14th year, the award is open to either individuals or organisations and runs with the support of IFSEC Global.
Tracey has been Amulet’s head of HR since 2015, and has been instrumental to the success, growth and development of both the business and its people. Tracey’s talent, commitment and compassion, together with 14 years’ experience in the profession, has made her an indispensable figure in our organisation.
As a passionate believer in looking after and developing people, Tracey has helped professionalise numerous business functions by designing and implementing new training programmes and systems and has also championed the Apprenticeship Levy within the business.
Tracey’s contribution to Amulet has been fundamental to our growth and success. In fact, she goes above and beyond a traditional HR role every single day and the impact has been felt by all of us at Amulet. Tracey can write proposals, create presentations, win tenders and mobilise contracts. She was pivotal in our successful retender with the GLA in 2019. She regularly visits client sites and builds strong relationships with both clients and Amulet employees.
She won our internal Management Leadership Award in 2019 and being shortlisted for the Inspiration in HR award is fantastic recognition from the industry at the impact she has made with us.
The winner will be announced and presented with their prize during the Security & Fire IFSEC Global at The London Hilton Hotel, Park Lane on Wednesday 25th November 2020. We all wish Tracey the best of luck!
